Kavita Vlieghe. A burning world

A burning world

Looking from inside out
she sees a burning world.

In the silence of her room
she writes a poem.

Poetry in order to fill a need.
The need of understanding.

The urge to find patterns
where there seem to be none.

The wish to find meaning
when all is lost.

In an attempt to bring
experiences to life.

Unlocking moments of magic
of beauty for everyone to see.

Exploring destruction with wars
like bombs shouting louder than ever.

A loudness that no longer can be ignored,
rhyming with all in harmony and disharmony.

For poetry is ambiguous.
